Our Hub
Leicester
The Leicester Hub, operates from the Leicester Central SDA Church on University Road, Leicester,
and distributes food on Wednesdays from 11 – 2 pm. We provide food packs that have been
created to fill a growing need in Leicester and will help people in crisis that are referred from
agencies, schools and workers in the area who work directly with children and families that need
support.
Our food packs provide non-perishable and fresh food where possible to help to provide a well
balanced diet. When available, we can also offer toiletries, nappies, and other personal items.
Loughbrough
Our newly established Loughborough Hub is currently running a Pre-diabetic/Diabetic Food &
Wellbeing Hub. This is a 5 Week Programme for people living on a tight budget that have been
diagnosed as pre-diabetic or diabetics. Within the 5 weeks participants receive support and
advice around wellbeing, nutrition and health as well as receiving a healthy food package.
